What we learned...
"Many of the Lamanite prisoners asked to join the people of Ammon and be a free people." (Maycee & Dad)

"None of the Nephites died in regaining the city of Nephihah." (Jaron)

"The Lamanites were overtaken and many of them were slain or captured but some escaped." (Kenyon)


"Moroni got possession of Nephihah and they didn't lose a single life." (Brandon)

"The Nephites went over the other side of the wall and surprised the Lamanites who escaped the city." (Mom)

"The Lamanites were surprised when the woke up to the Nephites being in the city." (Shaylee)

"The Lamanites were given the offer to join the people of Ammon for their covenant for not bringing their weapons of war." (Brandon)

"Moroni and Pahoran took a large number of men and went to the land of Nephihah to overthrow the Lamanites." (Shaylee)

"The first thing you should to solve a problem is use your words instead of fighting." (Shaylee)

"The Nephites tried to not have bloodshed." (Jaron)

"Pahoran was not angry at Moroni even though he was accused falsely because he knew that Moroni's heart was in the right place, and he was trying to do the right thing." (Maycee)

"Pahoran said that they'd be willing to subject themselves to be in bondage or slavery to their brethren and the Lamanites instead of fighting them if it was the Lord's will. But the Lord instead told them to defend themselves and their freedom, and that He would deliver them from their enemies." (Dad)

"Parhoran was the chief governor of the land." (Jaron)


"Those who wanted to defend their freedom and country were driven out by the rebellion, and they flocked to join Pahoran in the land of Gideon and were great in number." (Dad)

"Moroni gave Pahoran and those in charge of the government an ultimatum to repent and provide them the provisions and reinforcements that they needed immediately or else he would speedily come down to Zarahemla and smite them with the sword so that they no longer impeded their progress and cause of freedom." "Moroni told Pahoran that he's going to find any of the people who desire freedom to go against the king-men." (Maycee & Mom)

"Moroni writes to Pahoran that the soldiers who have died is not because of their wickedness but because of his lack of help." (Brandon)


"All this fighting happened because of the king-men causing contention." (Kenyon)


"Moroni told Pahoran in an epistle supposed he had joined the king-men and that is why he wasn't sending provisions." (Shaylee)

"Moroni blamed Pahoran for the death of his men because he didn't sent provisions more men to fight." (Jaron)

"You need to get rid of the corruption on the inside before the outside can be fixed because that's how the Lord works." (Elias)

"Moroni said that he would leave part of his army and take the rest to go down to Zarahemla and cleanse the inner vessel by taking out Pahoran and the king-men if they refused to repent and support the cause of freedom.
