Hymn:  I Love to See the Temple

Alma 37:38-44

What we learned...
"The Liahona is like a temporal version of the word of Christ." (Shaylee)

"The Liahona to us today is the word of God through scriptures and church leaders
." (Brandon)

"With both the word of God and the Liahona if you don't follow them you won't make it to the promised land." (Kenyon)

"The Liahona worked according to their faith." (Jaron)

"By not giving heed to the Liahona Lehi's family did not travel in a direct course, which caused them to experience hunger and affliction and it took them much longer to reach their destination. The same principle applies to us that if we don't give to the word of God that we will experience more afflictions and take longer to obtain eternal life, and we risk not reaching it at all."
