God always had a reason for things, even when bad things happen in your life." (Shaylee) "Well, the Lord isn't the one who broke Nephi's bow or caused it to happen but I agree the Lord lets us go through hardships because we can learn important lessons from them and to try us to see if we will remain faithful to him or if harden our hearts and blame Him. A: "So we can be like Nephi by being an example to other by following the Lord and doing nice things to people." (Shaylee) "Yes, Nephi showed us the example to follow which is to do something to try and solve the problem instead of complaining about it. So if you don't like the situation you're in you should try to make it better instead of complain about, which does nothing to make it better. It actually makes it worse." (Dad)

Q: Was it good that Lehi felt bad for murmuring? (Dad)A: "Good because they're repenting of what they did. Otherwise they would keep on doing it and it would be harder to come back to Lord." (Shaylee) "Good because then he learns discipline from it. Because otherwise people can get away with doing bad things and won't feel sorry for it." (Kenyon)
