Q:   Why did the Lord want to keep the knowledge of the promised land a secret from the rest of the world? (Dad)

A:   "Because that way the other nations wouldn't overrun it, and they, the House of Israel, would have a land of inheritance." (Brandon)


2 Nephi 1:9  (Mom)

Q:   What is the condition of the Lord's promise to prosper in the promised land? (Dad)
A:    "You have to obey Him and follow Him." (Shaylee)  "Keep His commandments." (Brandon)

2 Nephi 1:10  (Kenyon) 

Q:   What will happen to our nation if we dwindle in unbelief and reject the Lord and His commandments? (Dad)
A:   "The just judgements of the Lord shall rest upon the people." (Kenyon)

Q:   What is going to happen to our nation if we don't repent and turn unto the Lord? (Dad)
A:   "They shall be scattered and smitten." (Shaylee)  "They shall take away our possessions." (Brandon)  "Yes, our lands and possessions. And who will take them from us?"  (Dad)  "Other nations." (Shaylee)

A:  "Bloodshed and great visitations." (Brandon)

Q:   So what is Lehi urging us to do? (Dad)
A:   "Awake from a deep sleep and shake off the chains of hell." (Shaylee)  "Repent! Repent! Repent!" (Brandon)
