Q:   What will the kings on the islands think when the darkness and destruction happen at the Savior's death? (Dad)

A:   "The God of nature suffers." (Brandon)

1 Nephi 19:13  (Shaylee)
Q:   What will happen to the Jews for crucifying the Savior? (Dad)
A:   "They would be scourged." (Kenyon) 



1 Nephi 19:14  (Dad)
Q:   Why is all this bad stuff going to happen to the Jews? (Dad)
A:   "They despised Jesus. They killed Him." (Brandon)  "A lot of people interpret this as God punishing the Jews but I don't think that's the case. They have always been a target among the nations of the world but the Lord had protected them when they remembered Him and followed the prophets. But when they hardened their hearts against and crucified Jesus when He came down among them they lost those protective blessings, which enabled their enemies to prevail against them." (Dad)

1 Nephi 19:15  (Kenyon) 

Q:   When would the Lord start blessing the Jews again? (Dad)
A:   "When they repent and no more turn their hearts against the Holy One of Israel." (Kenyon) 

1 Nephi 19:16  (Mom)

Q:   Who else will the Lord remember in those days when the Jews no longer harden their hearts against the Lord? (Dad)
A:   "The House of Israel in the four quarters of the earth." (Shaylee)  "Yes, upon the isles of the sea and everywhere else, and He is doing it through the church in bringing the gospel to them through missionary work."  (Dad)

Q:   Who is going to see the salvation of the Lord at the second coming? (Dad)
A:   "The whole earth. Everyone."  (Mom)

A:   "To persuade them to follow the Lord." (Shaylee)
