Q:   What will the Lord do in the last days to show the world His power? (Dad)

A:   "He will bring about His covenants and gospel to the House of Israel." (Shaylee)

1 Nephi 22:12  (Brandon)

Q:   Where will the Israelites be gathered from by the Lord? (Dad)

A:   "Out of captivity." (Brandon)  "Yes, they will flee to the promised land to escape captivity and be free, which is what the United States has been from its founding - a refuge of freedom."  (Dad)

Q:   It also says them came out of what?  (Dad)  
A:   "Obscurity and darkness. It's physical and spiritual. Their minds are going to be cleared and understand the gospel." (Brandon) 

1 Nephi 22:13  (Shaylee)

Q:   What does the Lord say will happen to the abominable church? (Dad)

A:   "They will war among themselves." (Shaylee)  "They will turn against each other."  (Mom)

1 Nephi 22:14  (Mom)

Q:   Who will turn against each other and be destroyed? (Dad)

A:    "Every nation." (Shaylee)  "Every nation that shall war against the House of Israel."  (Mom)

1 Nephi 22:15  (Kenyon) 

Q:   What do we have to look forward to after all of the destruction that will happen in the last days? (Dad)

A:  "Satan will have no power over the people. All the wicked will be burned." (Kenyon)  "Yes, the wicked who don't destroy each other and are left when the Lord returns will be burned. Those who survive will be righteous enough that Satan will have no power."  (Dad)

1 Nephi 22:16  (Maycee)

Q:   Before the wicked try to destroy all of the righteous what will happen? (Dad)

A:   "The Lord will show His wrath and it will be poured out upon the children of men." (Shaylee)

Q:   What words of comfort does the Lord tell the righteous when the wicked will try to destroy them in the last days? (Dad)

A:   "We need not fear because will be preserved from the destruction." (Brandon)  "Yes, even if it be by fire the Lord will prevent the wicked from destroying the Lord's people."  (Dad)
