A:   "For they shall be smitten no more. He'll have mercy upon the afflicted." (Kenyon)  "Yes, and He shall also comfort His people."  (Dad)

Q:   What did Zion or the Lord's people think about the Lord? (Dad)
A:   "That the Lord has forgotten them. But the Lord is trying to show them that He has not." (Shaylee)

Q:   What does the Lord compare the House of Israel to? (Dad)
A:   "A sucking child." (Kenyon)  "Yes, a nursing child. Who would be the mother?"  (Dad)  "God." (Kenyon & Shaylee)

Q:   How does the Lord say He remembers His covenant people? (Dad)
A:   "The scars on His hands." (Brandon)  "The nail prints on His hands." (Shaylee)  "Yes, when the Lord sees His hands He has that reminder of His atonement, which is to pay for the sins of those who take upon them His name and covenant through baptism to follow Him."  (Dad)

"These verses tell us that the Lord's covenant people shall prevail over their enemies. So when things get bad in the world, and you are persecuted for the gospel's sake remember that if you endure faithfully that you will prevail in the end for you will be on the Lord's side."  (Dad)
