QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

1 Nephi 22:25  (Shaylee)
Q:   Who are the Lord's sheep? (Dad)
A:   "Us." (Shaylee)  "The House of Israel." (Kenyon

Q:   What does it say the Lord will do for His sheep? (Dad)
A:   "He shall feed them." (Shaylee"What does that mean? Feed them physically?" (Dad)  "No. He will feed us with the gospel, spiritually." (Shaylee)  "Yes, and they will find pasture meaning that they will have plenty to eat and not go hungry." (Dad)

1 Nephi 22:26  (Mom)
Q:   Why won't Satan have any power over the Lord's people? (Dad)
A:   "Because they are righteous." (Brandon)  "Yes, so Satan has no power over us except when we give it to him by disobeying God." (Dad)

1 Nephi 22:27-29  (Dad & Maycee)
Q:   Who can be part of the House of Israel? (Dad)
A:   "All nations, kindreds, tongues and people but they have to repent." (Mom)  "So even though there is a physical House of Israel of those who are the actual seed of Abraham the Lord will let anyone into the family who is willing to repent, be baptized and keep their covenants with God."  (Dad)

1 Nephi 22:30  (Kenyon
Q:   What is one main thing that Nephi says that the plates of brass or scriptures testify to us? (Dad)
A:   "That people should be obedient to the Lord's commandments." (Kenyon)  "And always have faith in the Lord." (Brandon)

1 Nephi 22:31  (Brandon)
Q:   And what blessings will come to those who are obedient to God and endure to the end? (Dad)
A:   "They'll be saved in the last days." (Brandon)  "Yes, and don't forget that last part that you must endure to the end, which is the real test. Often people will repent and be obedient for a short period of time but then they will return to a lifestyle of disobedience just like we see with Laman and Lemuel and many others. We must continue throughout out lives to stay on the straight and narrow path and repent when we get off of it or else we won't make it to the tree of life and have eternal life."  (Dad)
