Q: What if they didn't hearken unto Nephi? (Dad)
A: "That he would take away his blessing from them." (Kenyon) "Yes, Lehi's blessing upon them was conditional upon hearkening unto Nephi because he knew that Nephi would not go astray since he had been tested many, many times and stayed true to the Lord throughout even when Lehi himself murmured against the Lord when Nephi broke his bow." (Dad)
Q: Who else did Lehi say was blessed for following Nephi? (Dad)

2 Nephi 1:32 (Maycee)
Q: So how was this land of promise consecrated to them if they kept the commandments? (Dad)
A: "Security of Zoram's seed and his seed." (Kenyon)
Q: What does he mean be security? (Dad)
A: "Protection from Laman and Lemuel's seed." (Brandon) "The devil." (Kenyon) "All throughout history peoples and nations try to conquer each other and take their lands and possessions and make them slaves, just like what happened to Jerusalem after the Lord led them out of it. So yes, he's saying that the Lord has blessed the promised land as a land where the people could be secure and free if they remembered the Lord and kept His commandments. But I also agree with Kenyon that we receive spiritual protection as well when we keep the commandments. So you're both right." (Dad)
