Q: Where did Lehi see the vision of the Tree of Life? (Dad)
A: "He was in a tent in the valley of Lemuel." (Shaylee)
1 Nephi 9:4
Q: So what's the difference of what Nephi kept on his two sets of plates? (Dad)A: "An account of the reign of the kings is on one of them, and the wars and contentions of my people." (Shaylee)
Q: What about the other plates? (Dad)
A: "The more part of the ministry." (Shaylee) "Ministry means like to teach." (Brandon) "Yes, ministry is dealing with the spiritual affairs, which include teaching the Gospel." (Dad)

Q: Why did Nephi say the Lord commanded him to make and keep the plates? (Dad)A: "The purpose I know not." (Jaron) "Yes, he doesn't know the purpose other than the Lord must have a wise purpose in keeping them." (Dad)
1 Nephi 9:6
Q: Why should we like Nephi trust in the Lord's commandments when we don't know the reason why? (Dad)A: "Because the Lord knows what's best for us, and if we keep the commandments we will end up going to heaven." (Brandon)
Q: What did Nephi say about the Lord on why He would know what best for us? (Dad)
A: "Because the Lord knows all things." (Brandon) "Yes, the Lord knows all things from the beginning to the end. He can see the past, present and future. He is omnipotent, which means all knowing. So it would very wise for us to put our trust in His counsel instead of our own or other people's if it is different than the Lord's. We should put our trust in God not man." (Dad) "The Lord will save us if we follow His commandments but He won't save us if we don't repent and keep His commandments." (Shaylee)
