Q:  Why were Laman, Lemuel and Ishmael's sons and daughters rebelling? (Dad)
A:  "They wanted to go back to Jerusalem."  (Mom)

1 Nephi 7:8

Q:  What did Nephi tell Laman and Lemuel about their rebellion? (Dad)
A:  "He said that I'm your younger brother and should I be setting the example for you? You're older than me." (Shaylee)  "Yes, Nephi is telling his older brothers off that they should be setting the example following the Lord and not him their younger brother. This shows that Nephi's desire isn't to be the one in charge like the Lamanites accused him of throughout the generations afterward."  (Dad)

Q:  What did Nephi remind his brothers of that they had forgotten? (Dad)
A:  "Did you forget that you saw an angel?" (Shaylee)  "How could they forget that the Lord can do anything that he commands." (Brandon)

A:  "Bringing back the plates and convincing Ishmael's family to leave Jerusalem and come into the wilderness with them." (Shaylee)

A:  "You want to go back to Jerusalem and be destroyed? It's going to be destroyed." (Shaylee)  "Yes, he bore his testimony that they would at some future time come to know about the destruction of Jerusalem to address their doubts that it would happen."  (Dad)
