A:  "He saw multitudes of his seed gathered together to battle." (Shaylee)  "Against his brethren's seed." (Brandon)

Q:  What did Nephi say that the fountain and river represented in Lehi's vision? (Dad)
A:  "The fountain of filthy water and the river of the depths of hell." (Shaylee

Q:  What does the mists of darkness represent in Lehi's vision? (Dad)
A:  "The mists of darkness represent the temptations of the devil." (Shaylee

Q:  What effect did the mists of darkness or the temptations of the devil have on those who traveled through them? (Dad)
A:  "It blinds your eyes and hardens your heart and leads you off into the darkness to perish." (Brandon)

Q:  How did those who make it to the tree of life not get led astray by the mists of darkness or temptations of the devil? (Dad)
A:  "The held to the iron rod, which is the Lord's commandments." (Shaylee)  "It's the word of God." (Brandon)  "Yes, you're both right."  (Dad)

Q:  What does the large and spacious building represent in Lehi's vision? (Dad)
A:  "It's practically the pride of men."  (Kenyon)

Q:  What is the great and terrible gulf that divides the large and spacious building from the tree of life? (Dad)
A:  "One of them is justice of the Eternal God." (Shaylee)  "The iron rod and tree of life or the word of God and Jesus are on one side and the large and spacious building or the pride of vanity of men and the world are far apart from each other. That's what it means that there is a great gulf between them. You can't try and be close to both. You have to choose which one to follow. You cannot have one foot in the kingdom of God and the other in Babylon or the world."  (Dad)
