Q:  What did the Lord tell Nephi would happen if he kept the commandments? (Dad)
A:  "He would be made a ruler and teacher over his brothers." (Brandon) 

1 Nephi 2:23

Q:  What did the Lord say would happen to Laman & Lemuel when they rebel against Nephi? (Dad)
A:  "They would have a sore curse." (Shaylee)  

Q:  What curse do you think was a sore curse that they had? (Dad)
A:   "They would not get the Lord's blessings." (Brandon)  "They shall have no power over Nephi's seed." (Shaylee)  "They and their seed were cursed with unbelief, and as a result lost the blessings of the gospel and eternal life. It was the spiritual curse that was the most sore." (Dad)

Q:  What did the Lord say would happened to the Nephites if they also rebelled against Him? (Dad)
A:  "The Lamanites would scourge the Nephites to make them remember the Lord." (Dad) 

1 Nephi 3:2

Q:  When Nephi returned from speaking to the Lord what did Lehi tell him what he just experienced? (Dad)
A:  "He dreamed a dream or had a vision, and the Lord commanded that Nephi and his brothers needed to return to Jerusalem." (Mom) 

1 Nephi 3:3-4

Q:  Why did the Lord command Nephi and his brothers to return to Jerusalem? (Dad)
A:  "Because they needed to get the brass plates with the records of their genealogy." (Kenyon) "Not only did it contain their genealogy but also the word of the Lord." (Dad) "It contained their scriptures what was in the Bible." (Brandon)  "Well, they obviously didn't have the complete Bible since it had not been written yet, but they had the writings of the prophets up until their time, including Moses and Isaiah."  (Dad)
