Q:  Why did Nephi cry or pray to the Lord? (Dad)
A:  "He was curious about God and wanted to know His mysteries." (Mom)  "Because he wanted to believe what his father said and see what he saw."  (Brandon)

Q:  How did the Lord answer Nephi's prayer? (Dad)
A:  "He visited Nephi and softened his heart." (Dad) 

Q:  Why did the Lord need to soften Nephi's heart? Do you think that it was difficult for Nephi to leave his home and everything behind? (Dad)
A.  "Yes." (Shaylee)  "Because Nephi was struggling too, but he wanted to believe." (Dad)

A:  "If he would keep the commandments." (Brandon)

A:  "We keep the commandments." (Brandon)

Q:  What did the Lord say would happen to Nephi's brothers if they shall rebel against him?  (Dad)
