What we learned...
"Alma says that him and his brethren preach the word of the Lord to see joy in others not to gain money or riches off the people, which Korihor accused him of." (Brandon)
"Adam and Eve's transgression caused the Fall, which brought sin into the world, but we are not responsible for their transgression or the sins of our parents, just our own." (Maycee & Dad)
"While Alma was talking to Korihor he asked him, 'If the people are really being enslaved and deceived, then why are they happy?'." (Kenyon)
"Alma didn't preach to get money." (Jaron)
"The High Priest Giddonah knew that he couldn't do anything to change Korihor's mind so he sent him to Alma." (Shaylee)
"Korihor taught many half-truths to lead away the people, which is how Satan deceived Eve. So we need to be especially aware of this and not just believe everything someone tells us just because one part of it is true. We need to break things out and determine what's true and what's not, which the scriptures and the Holy Ghost can help us discern." (Dad)
