What we learned...

"The Nephites had their hearts hardened despite what the Lord tried to tell them." (Brandon)

"Despite the fact that the Nephites gave up their land and made a treaty with the Lamanites they prepared for battle just in case." (Kenyon)

"Moroni wasn't the first one to come up with the idea of burying the sacred plates of gold in a hill. His father Mormon also received plates out of a hill that Ammaron buried, which the Spirit strongly prompted him to do most likely because the people were wicked and had their hearts set upon riches and would have loved to get their hands on the gold plates to become more rich."
