Helaman 13:35-39, 14:1-9

What we learned...
"Samuel the Lamanite told the Nephites that a time would come that they would try and hide their treasures, but they would not be able to find them because of the curse upon their land due to their wickedness." (Maycee & Dad)

"Samuel the Lamanite was prophesying the signs of Jesus's birth to the Nephites." (Jaron)

"Samuel kept preaching because he wanted the people to be saved." (Shaylee)

"Samuel the Lamanite didn't want to bring destruction upon the Nephites but was trying his best to help save them." (Kenyon)

"The intentions behind Samuel the Lamanites was to save them because he loved them, not because he was trying to give them justice." (Brandon)

"That you should not procrastinate the day of your repentance because eventually it will be too late
." (Mom)

"The Nephites tried to have their cake and eat it too. They wanted to not keep the commandments but have all the blessings that come from keeping the commandments. They wanted to be happy in doing sin, which is contrary to the nature of God. True joy and happiness comes from keeping God's commandments. Satan cannot give us happiness and joy but lures people away with his counterfeit, which is pleasure." (Dad)
