Alma 20:30, 21:1-6

What we learned...
"Aaron and his brethren had went to a place called Jerusalem, and the people there were wicked." (Kenyon)

"There was an Amalekite asking questions trying to get Aaron to say something to stir up the people." (Shaylee)

"The Lamanites asked Aaron about the angels that he saw and why they weren't visited by angels." (Maycee)

"There was a city called Jerusalem named after Jerusalem where Jesus would be born built by the Lamanites, Amalekites and Amulonites who were all hard hearted." (Jaron)

"Amulonites and Amalekites used to be Nephites but strayed off. Since they once knew they were more responsible for their sins since they had more knowledge." (Brandon)

"The Amalekites and Amulonites had harder hearts than the Lamanites.
" (Mom)

"Aaron and his brethren had a much more difficult experience and suffered greatly compared to Ammon not because of anything they did or didn't do but because they happened to go to a more hardened people. It's the same with missionary work today. Missionaries who serve in Latin America, Africa or even Utah will have much more success generally than those who serve in Europe and Asia. It's not because the missionaries in Europe and Asia are less valiant but because the people there are much less receptive of the gospel. So the Lord won't judge missionaries by the number of baptisms they had but by their faith, obedience and efforts in sharing the gospel."  (Dad)
