Hymn: Love One Another
Prayer: Dad
Alma 1:27-33
What we learned...
"The people that weren't in the church were having a harder time getting by because God wasn't on their side because they were sinning." (Kenyon)
"The people outside of the church that were being wicked broke the law in secret so they wouldn't be punished." (Shaylee)
"Because of their righteousness even through persecution Alma's people were able to have peace." (Brandon)
"The got blessed by having peace." (Maycee)
"That you should help other people even they're not in the church." (Jaron)
"The law made it so that the wicked didn't have more sin so they would not get in trouble with the law." (Mom)
"Those in the church did not waste their money on expensive clothes but still dressed nicely but instead spent their money to help out the poor, needy, sick and afflicted both in and out of the church and were blessed with riches as a result. This does not guarantee that we will be rich when we are righteous. The biggest blessing which they had which we can also have from being righteous is to have peace from the Lord even in the midst of persecution and affliction." (Dad)
