Hymn: Happy Family
Prayer: Maycee
Mosiah 28:3-9
What we learned...
"King Mosiah had a problem because none of his sons wanted to be king." (Kenyon)
"The Lord told Mosiah not to worry and that He would keep his sons safe while they were on their mission." (Shaylee)
"The fact that the sons of Mosiah kept trying to convince their father to go on their mission to the Lamanites showed their devotion." (Brandon)
"The sons of Mosiah couldn't bear to think of people dying without the gospel." (Maycee & Mom)
"The sons of Mosiah did plead with their father many days to go to the land of Nephi." (Jaron)
"The Lord showed mercy upon Alma the younger and sons of Mosiah even though they were the vilest of sinners but they still suffered much for their sins. So even though the Lord will forgive us when we repent we still suffer consequences of our bad choices. Repentance doesn't take away all suffering and the consequences of our choices. It just makes it so that we don't pay the full price of our sins and that we can be made clean through the atonement of the Savior so that we can be worthy to return to live with Him and Heavenly Father again." (Dad)
