What we learned...
"King Noah and his priest got really angry at Abinadi because he told them that what they were doing was wrong. They were so angry that Noah wanted to kill him." (Kenyon)

"The Lord said that He would not hear the Nephites cries until they repented." (Shaylee)

"The Lord doesn't take away your punishment from sins immediately or else you would keep doing it." (Brandon)

"The Nephites didn't like that they were being judged." (Jaron)

"It hurt the Lord's feelings when people are wicked." (Maycee & Mom)

"When it says that the Lord is a jealous God it means that He is sensitive and is hurt when we reject Him because He loves us so much. Love makes us vulnerable to being hurt. That's why many people put walls around their hearts and avoid loving people because they've been hurt before and don't want to be hurt again. But if we're going to become like the Lord then we need to love others anyway even though it means we will be hurt. The other side of the coin is that because we will have gone through greater sorrow our joy will also be much greater." (Dad)
