What we learned...
"King Limhi was happy because they had a chance at being free from the Lamanites who had taxed them greatly." (Kenyon)

"King Limhi didn't kill Ammon and the others because he wanted to ask a few questions about why he was so bold by approaching him outside the gates of the city." (Shaylee)

"The people in Lehi-Nephi were struggling under the rule of the Lamanites due to heavy taxation." (Brandon)

"Ammon went looking for his brethren who left with Zeniff." (Jaron)

"Limhi was happy that they found him because the Lamanites were causing them problems." (Maycee & Mom)

"The way that Ammon responded to King Limhi is an example of how we should deal with each other. He could have complained or be ornery about being imprisoned but instead was humble and expressed gratitude for the king sparing his life ."  (Dad)
