What we learned...
"Those who do not repent will suffer pain, anguish and guilt for all eternity." (Kenyon)

"God gives mercy to those who repent." (Shaylee)

"People who keep the commandments have never-ending happiness. We should strive for that." (Brandon)

"Those who repent get mercy." (Jaron)

"There's a difference between sinning out of weakness and sinning in open rebellion."  (Mom)

"The rebellious will try to justify their sins by pointing out that nobody else is perfect, which is true, but that doesn't mean the Lord will judge everyone the same. Our attitude and state of our heart influences how the Lord deals with us. Elder Richard G. Scott taught 'The joyful news for anyone who desires to be rid of the consequences of past poor choices is that the Lord sees weaknesses differently than He does rebellion. Whereas the Lord warns that unrepented rebellion will bring punishment, when the Lord speaks of weaknesses, it is always with mercy.'" (Dad)
