What we learned...
"Just because Sherem confessed that doesn't mean he was fully forgiven because he was probably doing it out of desperation instead of love for the Lord." (Kenyon)
"Sherem confessed but that doesn't mean he had a change of heart." (Shaylee)
"Sherem confessed that he lied to people and there was a God." (Jaron)
"Sherem died." (Maycee)
"We should not procrastinate repenting, especially deathbed repentance like Sherem did. Although it is good that Sherem confessed his sins, for true and full repentance you need to feel godly sorrow for your sins not because of fear or sorrow of the punishment of our sins. We should be sorry that we offended and hurt God by our sins instead of feeling sorry that we were caught. Whether Sherem had a change of heart and repented sufficiently is up to the Lord to judge but we should not wait until we are caught in our sins or on our deathbed to confess and repent of our sins." (Dad)
