Q:   What makes it possible for us to return and live in the presence of God? (Dad)

A:   "According to the merits, mercy, and grace of the Holy Messiah." (Brandon)

2 Nephi 2:9  (Jaron)

Q:   What does it say we must do to be saved? (Dad)

A:   "They must believe." (Brandon)  "Believe in what?"  (Dad)  "In God and Jesus." (Kenyon)

2 Nephi 2:10  (Kenyon) 

Q:   Why shall all men return to stand before God? (Dad)
A:   "In the judgement." (Brandon)  "Yes, we all shall stand before God to be judged."  (Dad)

2 Nephi 2:11  (Shaylee)

Q:   What does this verse say was a necessary part of God's plan? (Dad)
A:   "Opposition." (Shaylee)

Q:   What did it say about the earth had there been no opposition? (Dad)
A:   "There wouldn't be a purpose at all." (Brandon)

Q:   There can be no righteousness unless there is what? (Dad)
A:   "Sin." (Shaylee)  "You can't have good unless there's bad. Otherwise how could you compare the two?" (Kenyon)  "Yes, there must be an opposite or opposition in all things. So there can be no happiness unless there's what?"  (Dad)  "Sadness." (Shaylee)

A:   "For their profit and learning." (Brandon)

Q:   Why do we study the scriptures each night? (Dad)
A:  "So we can learn and apply the things in our life." (Brandon)  "Yes, for your profit and learning also."  (Dad)  "The scriptures have the answers to our questions on how to be saved." (Shaylee)
