"The wicked will have bad stuff happen to them." (Jaron)
"The righteous aren't promised that bad stuff won't happen to them in this life, but if they're like Nephi and don't murmur and harden their heart against God because of their afflictions they will be strengthened and blessed by the Lord and have peace. Even though everyone will suffer hardships in their life regardless of whether they're righteous, the wicked will bring upon themselves additional afflictions upon themselves from the consequences of their bad choices." (Dad)
