Hymn: Teach Me To Walk In The Light
Prayer: Jaron
Moroni 7:13-19
What we learned...
"Everything that inviteth and enticeth to do good continually is of God." (Jaron)
"Moroni warns to us to not judge that which is evil to be of God or that which is good and of God to be of the devil." (Maycee)
"If something is persuading you to break the commandments it is of the devil." (Shaylee)
"If a work breaks one of the commandments it is of the devil." (Kenyon)
"If you head the lessons that Moroni has been teaching us then you'll know between good and evil and won't be deceived." (Brandon)
"If a thought causes you to do something good then it of the Spirit of Christ so you should always go with the thought." (Mom)
"The reason Moroni focused on between how to discern between good and evil in the last part of the Book of Mormon is because he saw our day and knew that it was a time where people would call evil good and good evil. So he's telling us how we can truly discern between good and evil so that we are not deceived by the philosophies of man, and the key he said was to search diligently the light of Christ. That's why we need to hold on to the Iron Rod or Word of God daily in our lives so that we are filled with the light of Christ and not be deceived and led astray by false philosophies and doctrines." (Dad)
