Ether 2:18-25

What we learned...

"The brother of Jared cried unto the Lord and asked Him how they were going to breathe in the barges." (Shaylee)

"The brother of Jared said to the Lord that there was no light in the ships." (Jaron)

"The brother of Jared asked the Lord a question about how they are going to breathe in the barges." (Maycee)

"The Lord would guide them to the promised land through their barges." (Kenyon)

"The brother of Jared and went and asked the Lord for a source of light that way they wouldn't be stuck in the dark." (Brandon)

"The Lord wanted the brother of Jared to solve his own problems and then come to Him and ask Him if that would work or be the right answer. He wants us to do the same." (Mom)

"The Lord didn't tell the brother of Jared how to solve the problem of having no light in the barges but instead asked him what he would have Him to do solve the problem. The Lord works the same way with us. He wants us to try and figure out the problems ourselves and then go to Him and ask if it's right or for His help to do it. Like a parent helping their child with homework it's best to let the child try and figure it out on their own so they learn and then ask the parent to confirm whether they're doing it right.." (Dad)
