Alma 50:38-40, 51:1-11

What we learned...
"Amalickiah was lucky because he was going to war when the Nephites were fighting amongst themselves." (Maycee & Mom)

"The Nephites were becoming weak because they were fighting amongst themselves, and a house divided shall fall." (Shaylee)

"The Lamanites were going to attack the Nephites again." (Jaron)

"Some people wanted a king, and some people didn't so they had everyone vote on it, and the freemen won." (Kenyon)

"The kingmen were mainly comprised of those who were born into wealthy and powerful families because by having a king they would be put in positions of power and could gain more." (Brandon)

"The people voted on whether to have the kingmen or freemen in charge, and they voted in favor of the freemen to have Pahoran remain in charge." (Mom)

"Pahoran replaced his father Nephihah as the chief judge over the Nephites, and he filled the seat to uphold the law and righteousness like his father."  (Dad)
