Alma 27:28-30, 28:1-3 (6/23/17)

Scripture study participants:  Dad, Brandon, Kenyon, Shaylee, Jaron & Maycee
Hymn:  The Lord Is My Light
Prayer: Kenyon

Alma 27:28-30, 28:1-3

What we learned...
"There was a great battle between the Nephites and the Lamanites and both sides lost a lot of people but the Nephites ended up winning." (Kenyon)

"The people of Ammon said that they would rather be killed in the most aggravating and distressing manner than take their swords and slay their brethren." (Shaylee)

"The Lord favors people who are obedient and honor Him." (Maycee & Brandon

"Many of the Lamanites and Nephites got killed, but more Lamanites got killed and the Nephites ended up winning in the end." (Jaron)

"Not only did the people of Ammon refused to take up weapons and go to battle again but the did abhor even the thought of killing someone. This is a sign of true repentance - you not only stop doing the sin but you abhor or hate even the very thought of it."  (Dad)
