Q:   Why will so many women be going after one man in the days before the second coming? (Dad)
A:   "There will be a shortage of men." (Brandon)  "Yes, but why it does not say. It could be that many men are killed off by war or disease or that there will be a shortage of men in the world who will be willing to marry and have a family."  (Dad)



2 Nephi 14:2  (Jaron 

Q:   How does Isaiah describe the Lord's people at that day? (Dad)
A:   "Beautiful and glorious." (Brandon)  "Yes, and notice it says that they escaped to Israel."  (Dad)



2 Nephi 14:3  (Shaylee)

Q:   Those who are in Zion and left in Jerusalem shall be called what? (Dad)
A:   "Holy" (Brandon) 


2 Nephi 14:4  (Dad)

Q:   How will the Lord purge the filthiness of His people? (Dad)
A:   "The spirit of judgement." (Kenyon)  "The spirit of judgement and burning." (Shaylee)

Q:   What is this verse talking about that will be built throughout Zion? There's one in Provo built up on the mountain side that looks like a white cloud during the day and has a pillar of fire going up at night. (Dad)
A:   "The temple." (Kenyon


2 Nephi 14:6  (Maycee)

Q:   What is the purpose of the temple and tabernacle? (Dad)
A:   "It's supposed to be a place of refuge from the storms, rain and heat." (Kenyon

Q:   Literally? (Dad)
A:   "No, it's talking about the sin in the world." (Brandon)  "Yes, it's referring to the spiritual storms, rain and heat in the world. The temple is a place for us to escape them and take refuge spiritually and feel the peace and safety of being in the Lord's presence in His house." (Dad)
