2 Nephi 7:4  (Brandon)

Q:   What did the Lord bless Isaiah with to help teach the people? (Dad)
A:   "Tongue of the learned. Basically like on the spot to teach the gospel." (Brandon)




2 Nephi 7:5-6  (Maycee & Shaylee)

Q:   What did Isaiah do so that he could hear, learn from and be an instrument in the the Lord's hands? (Dad)
A:   "He wasn't rebellious and didn't turn his back on the Lord." (Brandon & Shaylee)  "He also turned the other cheek to those who hit and spit upon him. He suffered shame and persecuted for the Lord's sake."  (Dad)


2 Nephi 7:7-8   (Jaron & Kenyon

Q:   What comfort did Isaiah take suffering persecution? (Dad)
A:   "He knew the Lord would help him." (Brandon)  "Yes, he knew that he wasn't alone. He knew the Lord was with him and would help him through it and contend with his enemies."  (Dad)


2 Nephi 7:9  (Mom)

Q:   What does he say will happen to his enemies? (Dad)
A:    "He says that they will wax old and the moth shall eat them up. In other words, they will die. His suffering will not last forever."  (Dad)



2 Nephi 7:10-11  (Dad)

Q:   What does Isaiah say about those who fear the Lord and obeys the words of his servant, the prophet? (Dad)
A:    "He says that they will not have to walk in darkness but rather will walk in the light of the Lord. They will be have the Lord's guidance in their lives."  (Dad)
